Tryouts are scheduled for this week. If your daughter is trying out for the 11s and 12s level (5th or 6th grade) or the 15/16s level (9th or 10th grade) she will be trying out tomorrow night (Tuesday) 11/13. All 13s and 14s players (7th and 8th grade) will be trying out Thursday night 11/15.  Please have players to PLHS by 6:30 on the night of their tryout for check in. Tryouts will be held from 7-9pm (there was an error on the website). Players will be able to try on sizes before and after the tryout to make sure uniforms fit. We currently have about 75 players trying out for 60 spots, so there will be cuts. We can only logistically have 6 teams across all age levels due to space constraints. We make the decisions based on the allocation of teams based on registration numbers. Based on the numbers in by today, we will be offering 2 teams at the 12s level (5th and 6th grade). 3 teams at the 13s and 14s level. And only 1 team at the 16s level (9th and 10th grade). We may end up with same day registration numbers that push us over the minimum for additional teams at an age level- but we want to make coaching assignments before tryouts so that coaches are in on the evaluation of their teams. Our coaching assignments are tentative, but we currently have Andrea Gates coaching the 12-1, Maggie O'Connor on the 12-2, Dana Domagalski and Abby Doyle will have the 13-1 and 13/14-2 teams, Erika Birkeland will be assigned to the 14-1 and Noreen Dix will take the 16-1 team. Each team will have two assistant coaches. We are very excited about our coaching staff this year as we have a lot of experience returning and some exciting new energy. All team assignments will be posted on the website by 6:00 pm on Friday. Teams and uniform numbers will be final at posting. If your daughter makes a team, you will be emailed a link to register for the club, USAV and to pay fees by Sunday night at 11:59pm. Players will also have to have uniforms ordered by that point as well. There is a payment plan option for club fees. The club directors will be at the check in table to field any questions tomorrow night and Thursday. See you all in the Gym!
